Delhi Arrival - Delhi Heritage Walk - Delhi Departure
In order to cut down on travel time, you should give priority to the major sites that are adjacent to one another for a shorter schedule (4-5 hours) that highlights the history of Old Delhi. To cover the highlights of Old Delhi in a condensed amount of time, this schedule is jam-packed. When scheduling your visit, remember to account for things like crowd density and operating hours as well as the amount of time you'll need to drive between sites.
At 8:00 am, Golden Triangle Tours in India, the tour guide will pick you up from the appointed place and proceed for a heritage walk tour of Delhi. Some of the highlights of your tour are:
Start at the Red Fort (Lal Qila): Get there early to have a look around this famous Mughal building. Take an hour or so to explore its striking architecture and discover its historical background.
Chandni Chowk: The vibrant centre of Old Delhi is Chandni Chowk, which is a short stroll from the Red Fort. Take about 30 to 45 minutes to explore the markets, little alleys, and lively street activity.
Jama Masjid: One of the biggest mosques in India is accessible by foot from Chandni Chowk. Take a good 30 to 45 minutes to appreciate its magnificence and maybe climb one of its minarets for a bird's-eye perspective over Old Delhi.
The Gurdwara Shri Bangla Sahib in the late morning: See the ancient Sikh temple, Gurudwara Shri Bangla Sahib, nearby. If time permits, take a brief tour and assist in the community kitchen (langar).
If you have more time, you should visit the Khari Baoli spice market nearby or visit Paranthe Wali Gali for some street food.
